Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Jesus Christ through the cross has cleansed us from all our sins! He made us a new creation where our old sinful self (the sinful blood that we inherited from Adam) has been put away forever (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
This wonderful work of Christ that has begun 2000 years ago, will keep on working in us. It is therefore, our job to learn more and more about the finished work of Christ on the cross, for it is the truth that is working in us. The revelations of Jesus Christ will transform us from glory to glory until the day He Himself comes for us! So today, be assured that Christ is with you and that Christ in you is transforming you to be that glorious person that He planned you to be. There is no such thing as a Christ-abandoned work; for He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). So, whatever you are experiencing in this life, good or bad, bright or dark, rewarding or disappointing, keep in mind the three things that you can be sure of: That Jesus Christ loves you, that Jesus Christ will never forget you and that Jesus Christ is going to complete the good work He began in you. Praise be to God that all the finished works of Christ are always glorious, majestic and perfect! So will you be after having Christ in you!
