God’s Will will be done

God does things for His good purpose (Philippians 2:13) and what pleases Him the most is blessing and loving His beloved children – you and me.  The Bible is full of promises, full of wonderful blessings from God our Father.  The problem here is that these blessings rarely manifest in the people of God.

I asked the Father why?  The Holy Spirit led me to Deuteronomy 28 and asked me what really goes on in my heart when I read the chapter.  How about you? What comes to your mind when you read about the promises of Deuteronomy 28? (Click here to view the verse, you will be shocked what The Lord has planned for you)

The biggest problem we face in receiving God’s promised blessings is our doubt on whether the blessings will really come or not.  Most people who believe these are God’s words, but they say in their hearts: “It may happen and it may not happen.” “God used to perform miracles but those happened in the old days; miracles don’t happen in the modern/scientific age anymore.”

In addressing these erroneous thoughts, I just want to remind people 2 truths in the Bible:

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8)

If He performed miracles in the old days, He still performs miracles today.  If Jesus healed sickness before, then Jesus Christ still heals people today.

And concerning the words that come out of The Almighty God, we will see that it is an utter impossibility for them not to come true:

10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven

and do not return there but water the earth,

making it bring forth and sprout,

giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;

it shall not return to me empty,

but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,

and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”

-Isaiah 55:10-11

Some people would rather die than break their promises.  If that can be true for the human flesh, how much more truth can there possibly be in God’s promises?

Before reading God’s word, it is of extreme importance that we put in our mind Who’s words they are.  Know that the Bible is God breath and everything that is written on it are the very words of our Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:16).  These words can never be broken and all of them from the fanciest word to the smallest dot WILL come to pass (Yes, whether we like it or not).  So begin by dwelling on Deuteronomy 28 and know by the blood of Jesus that these promises are for you! And because it is God who promised it, IT WILL BE DONE!

Amen and Amen.

Let God be true and everyman a liar. -Romans 3:4
