Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”
These are very exciting words from our Lord Jesus Christ. Knowing that what He says stays forever encourages us to read His words more and more. Most people don’t really see the true value of The Bible; it contains the very words of The Living God for His beloved people. The Bible is God breathed (2 Timothy 3:16), it is written by the very breath that gave life to all of us. It is written by the wisest being in the universe Who loves us and Who is incapable of telling lies. What more can we ask for?
Read the Bible and know that these are the eternal words our Creator has for us. Read the Bible and know that all the promises written are coming to pass because it is sealed by nothing less than the blood of Jesus Christ! Read the Bible and start jotting down your favorite verses. I always want to start with John 3:16 which is a favorite of many: “For God so loved the world that He gave up His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life!” Jot them down and meditate on them; know that these are the words of The Living God and these words will stay as the truth – forever.
Science and the wisdom of men will change and fail.
The word of God will last forever.
