Jesus Got Us Everything

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,

nor the heart of man imagined,

what God has prepared for those who love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Let no man covered by the blood of Jesus Christ be ashamed for expecting good things in their life.  As children of the Most High God, we have every right to do so; we have every right to be so.  The Lord Jesus Himself said:

“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”  Luke 11:11-13

Ask God and it will be given to you!  To doubt this statement is to insult God’s Fatherhood.  You mean to tell me that we, fleshly and worldly people, can give ‘our everything’ to make our children happy and God cannot do this for His own children?  Are we presuming that we are better fathers than our Father in heaven?  Do you really think that we are better givers than the one Who loves us unconditionally?  God forbid.

I love what the apostle said about what awaits us in the future.  We have no idea what blessings our Father in heaven has in store for us.  Whatever you’re going through or whatever you think you have right now, you haven’t seen anything yet!  The Lord will always out-bless us, way beyond our small minds and expectations.

So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:9

The Lord is giving it all out to us!  Ask Him for abundance of blessings! Through Jesus Christ, we have become His sons and daughters, how will God not give us all things?
