Matthew 4: 24-25
Word got around the entire Roman province of Syria. People brought anybody with an ailment, whether mental, emotional, or physical. Jesus healed them, one and all. More and more people came, the momentum gathering. Besides those from Galilee, crowds came from the “Ten Towns” across the lake, others up from Jerusalem and Judea, still others from across the Jordan.
There’s no doubt about it, Jesus was a true celebrity while He was here on earth. Lots of people loved Him, some hated Him. They pushed through crowds to touch Him (Matthew 9: 20), climbed trees to catch a glimpse of Him (Luke 19:1-4) and when doors were jammed with people, they came through the roof to be near Him. (Mark 2: 4) Word spread fast and everyone came to check Him out to see if He was for real.
Luke 19:1-4
There was a man there, his name Zacchaeus, the head tax man and quite rich. Hewanted desperately to see Jesus, but the crowd was in his way—he was a short man and couldn’t see over the crowd. So he ran on ahead and climbed up in a sycamore tree so he could see Jesus when he came by.
Mark 2: 1-5
After a few days, Jesus returned to Capernaum, and word got around that he was back home. A crowd gathered, jamming the entrance so no one could get in or out. He was teaching the Word.
Getting to see Jesus in such events recorded in the Bible, see Him hidden in the Old Testament and hearing about who He is from preachers that expound on all that He is, in all of His grace, (John 1:17) is the best thing about being a Christian.
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Seeing Jesus healing people in the Bible, knowing He is the same today as He was back then, gives us faith and trust that His heart towards us today is one that wants every one to be well now and forever. The fact that Jesus healed all people He came across was one of the main things He became famous for back then and is famous for today.
Hollywoodor music celebrities are considered cool because they have wealth that can give them degrees of power or influence. Jesus had all wealth and authority in Heaven and earth and gave it up for us out of His love for us so that we may inherit these gifts.
2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
Colossians 1: 15-16
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth.
Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.’
But by far, THE coolest thing about Jesus is that He is THE personification of GRACE. To see Jesus in His grace is the reason we write about Him, it’s the reason we ultimately call ourselves Christians and the reason why now, through Him, we have peace with God for all of eternity.
John 1:17
…Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Philipians 4:7
..and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds THROUGH Christ Jesus.
Everyone is drawn to a cool person, someone we feel comfortable to be around, trust to accept us and be non-judgmental and gracious towards us. Jesus did not come into this world to condemn us but to save us. (John 3:17)
John 8: 11
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go andsin no more.”
When you’re in the thick of things and feel like no one understands, see Jesus saying to you, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you, I am [your] ever-present [source of] help in time of need. (Hebrews 13:5, Psalm 46:1)
Hebrews 4: 16-17
Now that we know what we have — Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.

Is able to relate to us on every level and is with us in every situation no matter what!
