Hebrews 11:1 “[By Faith] Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
Faith is not just about knowing God. Faith is not just about believing God. Faith is BEING SURE and BEING CERTAIN about God and His word. Let me pose to you an earthly question that God used to give to show us a glimpse about His unbreakable words. Do you know that the sun will rise tomorrow? Are you sure? Let me rephrase the question: Do you believe that the sun will rise tomorrow or are you CERTAIN that the sun will rise tomorrow?
Allow me to direct you to Hosea 6:3:
Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth.”
God created the sunrise and the sunset to give human beings the picture of what CERTAINTY is. So, as you are sure that the sun will rise tomorrow, rest assured that The Lord Jesus will come again! Just as you are sure that the sun will give way to the moon at night, we rest assured that all His promises of health, prosperity, happiness, wholeness, and victory has already come.
Read the word of God, know Him Who never lies, believe in Him and be CERTAIN that all His promises will come to pass. Even if you don’t see it, just as we don’t see the sun before dawn, stay in peace and be assured that the sun will rise and that God’s word will fulfill its purpose.
