Psalm 42:8 “By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me” a prayer to the God of my life.”
As how the psalmist put it: “The LORD is with us day and night”; meaning to say: He is with us eternally and forever. Most people believe and they do not doubt God’s omnipotence and omnipresence; however, most people also believe that God is keeping a watchful eye for us sinners and is waiting for us to fail so He can judge us. This one, my friends, is nothing but a lie from the pits of hell (Have these guys read about Jesus at all?!).
Let us read the psalm again and learn from the revelations of the writer about who God really is. It is absolute Biblical truth that God is with us always and forever; He is also with us for one purpose: To shower us His love. God is not here to judge us and punish us for our sins because 2000 years ago His Son, Jesus Christ, came down to pay for our sins on the cross! The perfect, spotless, and sinless Darling of Heaven was trampled on, humiliated, tortured, rejected, ridiculed, betrayed, whipped, beaten, abandoned, and crucified. Jesus Christ went through hell for all of us who would believe, so don’t let anyone stand there and tell you that our sins are still unpunished.
If God is still angry at us, then the cross of Christ was all for nothing.
Because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, God declares us righteous sons and daughters of The Most High. God will never condemn the ones that His Son died for. Come to Jesus for He is eager to sing His song with you, songs of love and not of judgment, songs of Salvation and not of damnation, songs of glory and not of despair.
Jesus Christ, the God of my life! What an honor!
