In God’s Right Hand

God protects

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

The secret to unlocking this verse is in discovering Who is in the right hand of God; because it is He who will defend us from our enemies.  It is He who will comfort us during times of fear and it is He who will uphold us in righteousness!

If it is someone like Paul or Moses or Solomon in God’s right hand, then we will have all the reasons to fear and doubt; for they were all but mere men who sinned and fell short of God’s glory.   All heaven and earth will have all the reason to fall and weep; for no one is worthy to carry our righteousness.  No one is worthy to wash our sins away, no one but One Man.  Thank God it is no ordinary man who God exalted.  Thank God it is no ordinary man who God used to die for our sins. Thank God it is no ordinary man who God hid us in to.  Thank God it wasn’t just an Abraham or a David or an Elijah; less we all perish from their imperfections.  Thank God that the One seated on His right hand is no one less than His Son, Jesus Christ!  Jesus Christ, the only one of us without sin and the only one who has obeyed and pleased The Father perfectly – WE WORSHIP YOU!

Jesus Christ exalted by The Father and is seated on His right hand (Acts 2:33, Ephesians 1:20)

Jesus Christ is my righteousness, who then shall I fear?  What then shall I fear?

If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
