Jesus’ Love is Greater than Your Sin

God shows His love for us

From the Gospels, it is clear that the Lord Jesus eats and drinks with sinners.  Needless to say, He loves them as well as His disciples and this love of His is NOT dependent on their actions whether they were ‘good’ or ‘bad’.  God simply loves us because He Himself is love.

God is Love. (1 John 4:8)

God is love, so He made a way to save us from our sins; which in turn magnifies that He is love.  So instead of watching us burn in hell and enjoying the satisfaction of justice, The LORD gave up His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place, righteously.

Looking at the Gospels, we can see that man’s sin cannot stop Jesus from loving us just as Man’s sin cannot stop Jesus from saving us.

You could think that you are the worst and most corrupt businessman or leader; you can turn to the story of Zacchaeus (Luke 19) and see how The Lord saved him.

You could think that you are the worst adulterer in the planet; you can turn to the story of the woman at the well (John 4) or the woman caught in adultery (John 8) and see how Jesus saved them.

You could think that you are the worst criminal and that you deserve nothing less than crucifixion; you can turn to the story of the thief beside Jesus and see how Jesus saved him (Luke 23:43).

To cut a long list short, you could be the worst murderer, blasphemer, and even a persecutor of Christians and Jesus can still save you! See how he saved Saul on (Acts 9).

I share this truth not to provoke people to sin more but to tell everyone that it is NEVER too late to run to Jesus Christ and receive His Salvation.  I share this truth because I believe with all my heart His eternal words saying that:

“IT IS HIS GOODNESS THAT LEADS US TO REPRENTANCE” –Romans 2:4-6

I am here to proclaim that whoever you are and whatever you think that you have done, Jesus Christ’s shed blood is greater than all your sins.  That if you declare with your mouth “Jesus is LORD” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED! (Romans 2:4)
