Habakkuk 3:19 “The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.”
This is another great reminder for everyone that The Lord is the source of our strength. Many of us already believe and rely on the grace of God but because of our exposure to ‘this world’, this consciousness tends to become smaller and smaller. The stress of the world is simply out there to go against the truth of what Jesus Christ did on the cross; to make us believe that The Lord has forgotten us and that we have to fend for ourselves. Well, if that were really true, then everything will be over by now because our human efforts will never result to anything right or anything good (Romans 7:18). So the next time that you are attacked with doubt or feelings of abandonment, look around you and tell me if the Lord has not blessed you. Did you really think that God sent His Son to die for us so He can abandon us to death? NEVER! God will always honor the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ! Our world around us is a testament of God’s grace, not God’s abandonment. We are alive and happy today because as God promised, The Lord is our strength! (not our human effort) We can succeed in work and life because of the undeserved favor brought to us by His Son Jesus Christ!
Believe not on the lies of the world. Jesus Christ, through His blood, has become our strength! Now instead of whining and complaining about this life, maybe you should start using this truth and start running to Jesus!
