Praise Jesus for He is Love

Worshiping God

Psalm 138:2 “I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.”

If you cannot find the right words to praise The Lord, reading Psalm 138 aloud is a good practice to edify your soul.  To praise God for His power and majesty is one thing, to praise Him for His beauty and perfection is another; but to worship Him for His love and faithfulness takes a deeper revelation and it requires a more intimate relationship with our Lord.  Above all, The Lord wants us to know Him as a loving God.

As Psalm 138 continues to verse 7:

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble,

you preserve my life;

you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes,

with your right hand you save me.

Our Lord God can obliterate all of us righteously because of our sins (just like what He did in the days of Noah); but instead, He sent His beloved Son, Jesus Christ to die for us.  So in times of trouble, always keep into remembrance that Jesus Christ, Our Lord who is exalted above all things, loves you! May all the kings of the earth praise you, O Lord!
