Grace Lead to Sin?

Galatians 5:13 “You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.”

A lot of people I talk to believe that the revelation of grace will lead to unaccountable sins.  But that is not what the Bible says about grace. Grace sets us free from sin and this freedom we use to love one another and love God more.  It was grace that made Peter fall on his knees to the Lord (Luke 5:8).  It was grace that empowered the adulteress to go and sin no more (John 8:11).  It was grace that made the corrupt tax collector, Zacchaeus, to return what he stole from the people 4 times the original amount (Luke 19:8).

Yes, we are called to be free through the loving sacrifice of The Lord Jesus Christ.  I can tell you right now that even if you fall to sin; The Lord Jesus Christ still loves you.  That is grace.  This revelation of His love for us will not make us sin more; in fact, it is this revelation of His love that will make us love God and love others greater (John 13:34, 1 John 4:19).  So read your Bibles and discover more of Jesus’ love and see how your life is transformed from glory to glory!
