John 3:17 “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
This is one verse that people have to read over and over again. People have different views about Jesus; most of them erroneous. They say: God gave them sickness so they will learn their lesson in life or “God cursed my business that’s why it’s not making money” or “God is condemning America…. God is condemning Greece…” Read the verse again!! Jesus came to be the Saviour of the world! And He saved us righteously through His sacrifice on the cross! Nothing can be greater than The Son; nothing, not even the greatest of sin. So right now, if you are there beating yourself up for a sin you committed, call on Jesus and rest easy. For even if there is the curse of sin that man should die, 2000 years ago, the law of God condemned our sins on the body of Jesus Christ. The Lord washed us so clean with His sinless blood that we are saved from sin – forever. Because of our Saviour (not condemner), there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ, Jesus! (Romans 8:1)
